Digital records count.

Food Standards Scotland accepts electronic records as long as they hold the same information as the CookSafe forms. You still keep your CookSafe pack for the methods and house rules.

Questions.

Do inspectors in Scotland accept records on a phone?

Food Standards Scotland says digital records are fine as long as they hold the same information as the CookSafe forms. Checked uses the CookSafe record names, and the report explains how records are kept: saved with a name and time, never changed or deleted, only corrected.

Do I still need the CookSafe pack?

Yes. The pack holds your methods and house rules. Checked replaces the diary pages you fill in every day.

Who sets the temperature limits?

You do. Every fridge and every kitchen record has limits you set in Settings to match your own pack. Checked starts from common figures, not legal ones.
